remember that one time i was cosplaying m’gann and i was all green but in her casual wear (that skirt and white top) and i was at a con and some dude was walking behind me and made some comment about how schoolgirl i looked saying
“WHOAH good to know she-hulk’s getting an education!”
and I snapped and turned to him (after being called she-hulk all day and was sick of it) and go
“EXCUSE ME. Jennifer Walters is a lawyer and i’d only assume she’s gotten a lot of education being that she passed the bar exam.”
and he just stopped and looked at me and was just wide-eyed and scared and confused and i was like “sorry… i’ve been called she-hulk all day. i’m miss martian”
and he was like “oh. um. sorry.”
and then i just kept walking

So this is my 52-year old mom and I as the Dolorosa and god-tier Kanaya. She used to make Halloween costumes for me when I was little, and now I encourage her to cosplay at cons :’) She worked so hard on her dress and it’s so beautiful and I’m just mildly hysterical over how adorable she is
EDIT: Now with 100% more mother-daughter cosplay!! The Rose is my wonderful friend, tumblr user stylographic-blue-rhapsody, and her mom!!
